Future Plans

What does the Future Hold? Immediate plans for improvements at Green Mountain Golf Course are focused on eliminating the "under construction" look the facility has portrayed since it opened.  Customers will enjoy more landscaping work (flowers, bark dust, etc.) continuing from the entrance and into the parking lot.  Transition areas between holes will also become more aestheticly pleasing. Fifty-five new Yamaha golf cars will arrive at the end of April, that is 10 more than the current fleet that has been in use since the course opened.   The Golf Car Yardage Books will remain with an added feature.  They will be fitted with a GPS device that will tell the player the distance from the golf car to the middle of the green.  This double GPS, both graphic and global positioning systems, will provide the golfers with exact yardages to the green, but allow them to determine distances to any of the obstacles that may be in their line of play. Sponsorships are available in the yardage books.  Sponsors receive 40 rounds of golf, with the use of half a golf car, at Green Mountain.  Any interested party can contact Tom Miller at Stellar Golf at (800) 321-1156
